例如 : His voice(聲音) drops(掉下來) to a lower pitch.John is a good pitcher. ( a pitcher, 加了er是投手的意思)
pitch(v) 投(球), 將~設在...的標準
例如: He pitched really well in the game yesterday. (他昨天在球賽中投球投得真不錯)
Mary's lectures were pitched directly at the level of her students.(Mary的課是依同學的程度而定)
